I've just got back from an exhibition at Norwich cathedral of ecclesiastical textile treasures from the Cathedral's collection. WOW. Amazing. I'm speechless except to say thanks to my friend Gudrun who works there as the librarian, for telling me it was on.
I started this blog when I moved to the UK with my husband Ricardo the Magnificent. After losing him to liver cancer in 2010 I decided to move back to my home town in Melbourne, Australia.
As political philosopher Thomas Paine would declare, "The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren and to do good is my religion".

wow! beautiful stuff! I think my favorite is the one just above the picture of Gudrun ... I love the colors.
Me too. I'll put another photo of it up as it's too good to miss out.
The red one that looks like it's bursting into flames was pretty good though.
