- I started this blog when I moved to the UK with my husband Ricardo the Magnificent. After losing him to liver cancer in 2010 I decided to move back to my home town in Melbourne, Australia. When I was a small boy one of our Aussie cousins came over from Brisbane to visit and brought two Koala cuddly toys as gifts for my brother and I. We were a bit miffed to be honest as we were beginning to grow out of such things. However, our spirits were greatly lifted when we discovered they were made of real Wallaby fur!

Thank God for that Big Dave. Nowadays they're probably made of panda fur.
