Look who saw his first snow.....Zebedee. Here he is wearing so many layers he can hardly bend. He was so amazed by it falling out of the sky, he kept holding up his hands and shouting at it.
There were a few more firsts this weekend too. I rang my first Quarter peal on the bells of East Harling and....we bought a new car. Well a temporary new car really for when my gorgeous Step daughter Roxi & her handsome boyfriend Mat come over to visit us in late December.

The AGM of the NDAB (southern Branch)
Yes that fascinating club that I'm sure you all want to be a member of had it's Annual General Meeting last weekend. The Southern Branch of the Norwich Diocesan Association of Bellringers. Watching paint dry has nothing on this event. If it hadn't been so bloody cold in the Church, I would have been asleep in seconds.
We did however have a lot of fun in the lead up. Note Richard's cute hairdo!making cheese sconesLamingtons (here the preparation thereof)
Cheese and pickle sandwiches (crustless of course)

and Coronation chicken sandwiches The best thing about these quarterly meetings is the amazing tea you get to eat for £2.50 a head. The other photos of the tea didn't quite work out but here's a short movie of all the fun you're missing.

“Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.” Mark Twain
Still trying to fit my feelings into a blog post.... Yesterday's Guardian had a 36 page special about the election win by Obama. Richard & I sat at the table reading & weeping for joy for most of he morning. Let me quote you a sentence from it by Jamie Walker, a 54 year old mother from the Bronx. "The pride I feel is not just that America has its first black president but in the kind of man he is. Politics is politics, but this is a man with grace and style and I believe with all my heart that he is a good man"
